Customers supplied by Brayhill Reservoir advised of supply disruption on Wednesday, 9 February
Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Meath County Council, advises customers supplied by Brayhill Reservoir of disruption to supply on Wednesday 9 February due to a planned ESB outage which will impact production at the water treatment plant.
During the planned outage production of treated water at the plant will be temporarily stopped. Customers may experience temporary low water pressure and/or loss of supply from 9:00am until 5:00pm. When works are completed and following restoration of power, it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as production is restarted and water refills the reservoir and network. It is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Michael Cunniffe, Uisce Éireann, said, "Uisce Éireann and Meath Council understands the inconvenience caused when power outages occur and thanks customers for their patience. We will work to restore full supply as quickly as possible following the power outage."
