Emergency repairs to burst watermain in Ballina
Customers in Rockwell will have an impacted water supply
Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Mayo County Council, wishes to advise customers in Rockwell, Ballina, that repairs to a burst watermain will have an impact on their water supply today.
Commenting Sean Higgins, Asset Operations Lead for Uisce Éireann said: "A crew is carrying out emergency repairs as quickly and safely as possible and traffic management will be in place while these essential works are underway.
"It is likely water supply will be off until 2pm today but it may take 2-3 hours for normal supply to return.
"Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience to customers when their water supply is affected and we would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while this unplanned outage is attended to."
