The works are required to facilitate a new connection to the water infrastructure and will be carried out on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 September. The works are being delivered by GMC Utilities limited on behalf of Uisce Éireann. Works are expected to be completed between 10am and 3pm each day. Properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply for the duration of the works; Patrick Street; Cross Avenue; Wolfe Tone Avenue and surrounding areas in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Properties directly impacted by these works have received direct notification.
In order to facilitate the safe delivery of these works a traffic management plan will be in place. Traffic management will include a stop/go system on Patrick Street in Dun Laoghaire.
Speaking about the works, David Murphy, Uisce Éireann said, "We understand that this type of work can be inconvenient and working in partnership with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council we will make every effort to minimise any disruption that these necessary works may cause."
