Crews have restored normal water supply to homes and businesses in Granard after a significant burst in the network.

Crews have restored normal water supply to homes and businesses in Granard after a significant burst in the network.

The areas affected by the burst include Granard Town, Moat, Bunlahy, Springtown, Aughnagarron, Tonywarden, Granardkille and surrounding areas in Co Longford.

David Gibbons, Water Operations Lead for Longford thanked affected customers for their cooperation while the repair works were carried out. 
“Uisce Éireann acknowledges the disruption that can be caused by an unplanned outage such as this burst,  and we wish to thank customers in the area for their patience while these repair works were underway,” he said.
