Works progress to improve Navan water supply
Uisce Éireann is working in partnership with Meath County Council to carry out watermains flushing to improve water supply for customers in Flowerhill, Navan and surrounding areas. While works are ongoing customers in Herbert Place, The Courtyard, Flowerhill Crescent and surrounding areas may experience temporary disruption to their supply such as low water pressure, discoloured water and/or water outages tomorrow, Wednesday 25 August, between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
When works are completed it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Speaking about the works, Donal Heaney, Uisce Éireann said, "Uisce Éireann and Meath County Council understands the inconvenience caused when flushing works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works to improve water supply to customers. Uisce Éireann and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused."
Uisce Éireann is working at this time, with our local authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of drinking water and wastewater services.
