Cherrywood Business Park Water Network Upgrade

Uisce Éireann in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has completed upgrades to the water inetwork at Cherrywood Business Park to support the future growth and development of the wider area and to proved a more reliable water supply to the community.

These works were carried out as part of Uisce Éireann's Growth and Development Programme and commenced in November 2022.

Works involved the installation of 400m of new trunk watermain between two existing connection points. Additionally, testing, disinfecting and commissioning of an existing 400m of watermain was also completed.

The works were carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Group and were completed in Q1 2023.

Now complete,  this project will facilitate social and economic growth, including planned residential development. The upgrade to the wwater network has increased the capacity to deliver reliable, sustainable high-quality wastewater services, and improved the resilience of the water network, ensuring the capacity to deliver reliable, high quality water services
