Dunlavin Water Supply Rationalisation Project

Uisce Éireann is delivering to rationalise the water supply in Dunlavin, Co Wicklow.

This project involves constructing approximately 7km of pipeline connecting Dunlavin to the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) water supply zone.

The new pipeline represents a €9 million investment in improving water supply security and resilience for homes and businesses in Dunlavin. The existing drinking water infrastructure in the area is not sufficient to meet current demand. In addition to creating supply challenges for existing customers it has also impacted the delivery of new housing developments in the area.
